Claire Sampson has a degree in Sculpture from the University of Ulster and an Advanced City & Guilds in Stonemasonry.

Inspired by nature and landscape, Claire works with the beauty of the material to express life and movement. Each creation is a unique piece of artwork, directly carved out of natural stone.

Claire has carved two pieces for the Downpatrick High Cross exhibition at Down County Museum.

Hamilton house

Four carved panels for the front of the new premises of Hamilton Architects in Belfast. Each is a portrait of one of the famous architects: Carlo Scarpa, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Frank Lloyd Wright and Alvar Aalto.
